• Why do so many owners want this sort of training, you might ask?
•  Why would owners want to part from their dogs for any period of time to have training done?

It is simple really. Owners who understand and value the importance of training their dog to a high level, then the in-kennel program becomes the best and only option.

It is ironic how the owners, who originally hired us to do a program at their home, are the same owners who requested an in-kennel option. Why? Well, once the owners start their training at home, they realize just how involved they have to be in their dog’s success. They get homework and they must practice several times a day. For some, that is fun and they do the practice happily. However, there are those owners who are busy. They have a busy life, with family, work, and everyday tasks, and training their dog become a chore, rather than a joy.

It is then when we hear, “Can’t you just take our dog and train it, and bring it back trained?” and the answer is …YES!!!!

We also understand that you don’t want to give up your dog for longer than needed, so we make sure that while the dog is with us, we train them daily, several times a day, by a professional dog trainer. To assure that the dog gets trained as quickly as possible, so they can go home to the owner in no time. (Usually it takes about 4 weeks from start to finish, although on occasion we can get it done in two or three, depending on the dog, and issues we are working on, and YES, you can come visit, or work with your dog if you wish while they are being trained.)

But there is MORE! Not, only does the dog get professional training several times a day, but they also get plenty of exercise, and they get to have fun! They will love to play and run around our Ranch with other doggie friends. Socialization is a huge part of training for all dogs. It’s is like Doggie Camp!

Once training is completed to our satisfaction (and we have the highest standards!) we will make special arrangements with the owner to transition the dog back to your home, and incorporate him back into your family dynamic smoothly.

For Local clients we will have a professional dog trainer bring the dog to you and do a 1 hour class to demonstrate the skills learned and show the owner how to give commands properly. Then at owner’s request we will come to the home 2-4 times at no additional charge, to work on a smooth transition and to help owners with anything they may need as the dog gets acclimated to their home life once again. This is optional, and many owners do not need it, but it is there if they do.

OUT OF STATE or OUT OF AREA: For out of state or out of country clients we make special arrangements for airport pickups and drop-offs (fees may vary)
